Frank M. Nefzger is an artist he enjoys designing, sculpting, hand-painting his toy soldiers. Frank works in all media sculpts with clay and putty, paints with oil and watercolors, sketching, drawing, pen, ink, charcoal, pastels and can us a computer..
Frank M. Nefzger is a military historian; he enjoys researching before he sculpts a new toy soldier to be as historically accurate as possible.
Frank works with not-for-profits such as the Ulysses S. Grant Institute where he is the president of the board of directors. The Galena Jo Daviess County Historical Society where he is a member of the board of directors.
Ellen Gideon has a nurturing, creative and caring soul, the hand made soaps, candles, and wreaths are made with love. Ellen is responsible for all the books, candy and home made snacks that are in the shop.
General Jackson will welcome you into the shop; he is a German Sheppard-Rottweiler mix, he was born on the anniversary of the Battle of New Orleans, January 8th 2009. We named him after General Andrew Jackson.
